This family home in Carshalton was transformed with a striking double-storey extension, designed to create generous new living spaces while blending seamlessly with the existing property. The extension features a bold black slate roof that not only enhances the aesthetic but also helped resolve a number of design challenges. Careful coordination of the structural steelwork was required to achieve the desired layout and roofline, ensuring the new structure integrated cleanly with the existing house.

Commercial Projects  Easipac , Morden, Surrey

At Easipac’s Morden site, our works have been phased across multiple units to deliver essential structural upgrades and new industrial floors.

In the Link Building, we carried out complex structural works to strengthen the existing fabric. Moving into Unit 2, we installed extensive new power-floated concrete floors, designed for heavy industrial use and long-term durability.

The next phase brought us into Unit 1, where demolition works and highly technical substructure activities are underway. This includes underpinning existing footings, installing new mass concrete pads, and casting robust structural slabs to modern standards.

​

Each stage has required careful planning, temporary works coordination, and disciplined site execution. The result is a programme that not only stabilises and renews the existing buildings but also delivers new industrial spaces ready for high-performance use.

Commercial Kempo House, Bermondsey, London

Kempo House presented a formidable challenge: an existing building in poor structural condition that required a complete reworking from the ground up. Our remit was to stabilise, reinforce, and rebuild the structure so it could serve as a safe and durable base for its new purpose.

​

The works began with extensive underpinning to secure the failing foundations. From there, we systematically dismantled compromised areas of the building, carefully sequencing the programme to maintain stability at every stage.

​

Once stabilised, we introduced significant new structural elements:

• Heavy steel frameworks to carry new load paths.

• Joisting and flooring systems to tie the building back together and provide robust, level platforms.

• A new structural slab, forming a solid base for the building’s future use.

• This project required a high degree of technical coordination and precision. Every element—from temporary works design to steel installation—was delivered to exacting standards.

We were instructed by our client to deliver a complete service yard replacement scheme. The existing service yard had failed and settled significantly in multiple locations. FSB put forward a phased approach that involved working over the Christmas shutdown and out of hours working.

We delivered the complete new service yard construction and minimal input to Delfield day-to-day operations.

We recently carried out internal fit-out works at the Reformer Collective site in Balham. The client approached us at short notice to assist with critical elements of the programme, including the overlaying of structural floors and the fit-out of the main studio workspace.
